Branch Road - burglary

Good evening,

Yesterday, we received 3 reports from the Branch Road area.

At around midnight, Sunday in to Monday, a male has attempted to force entry in to the Conservative Club. 

Having been unsuccessful, the male has then tried multiple door handles and cars on Branch Road.

The male then gained entry to a van parked on a driveway, and stole approximately £350 worth of fishing equipment.

The male has then burgled a nearby property. The property was ransacked, and approximately £750 worth of household goods were stolen, including a TV and coffee machines. 

The suspect appears to by a young adult male, wearing a black puffer coat with reflective strips on, and shorts.

We ask that if you have any CCTV cameras in the area, please review your footage between 00:00 and 03:00 on 03/08/26.
